Renewal issues when questions have changed

When a policy expiry email is first sent, a clone of the expiring policy is created and added as a link to the original policy record in your dashboard.

If your program's application form questions have changed since last year, your users will need to fill out the missing or altered question before the price is shown. Here's how an underwriter or agent can fix missing pricing.

  1. In the screen capture below, we have opened the renewal policy dashboard link.
  2. Because the application is missing answers, the premium is $0
  3. Now click "Edit Quote" and the application opens
  4. Re-enter the missing answers in your new or altered question set.

Once you have completed the missing answers, your price rules will generate the premium and fees in the summary section.
